So about 2 years ago a friend of mine gave me her '95 Camry LE for free. She was moving to TX and was going to junk it but I asked if I could have it and see if I could get it running. Got it up and running enough to drive it home where I could start fixing the few things that needed fixing. Few days later, the brake lines blow. Checked it out and ALL the lines where bad. Brake, fuel AND fuel fill lines. Then lights started to fail, exhaust blow a few holes in all but 2 of the pipes. In short, it snow balled on me. When I got some money saved up I was able to get all the lines replaced so I could drive it safely again. Got it home and changed out all the fluids, replaced all the light bulbs (front and rear), got the inside dome light to work again, fixed the radio, put new tires on it, changed out the overflow coolant tank, CLEANED the whole damn car (inside, outside and the motor) and started driving it more and more. Now I just need to fix the windshield (leaks at the top and I think a rock is going to hit and crack it soon...), find out what is going on with the AC not working and then check the alinement. Hopefully There will be no more surprises.
Here are a few photos from when I got it and just how bad it looked.
I'll grab a few of how it looks right now in a bit.
