oct. ride of the month nominations

It's that time of the month again for nominating Ride of the Month. now i am in charge of it.

Please refer to the thread "rules" with any questions or shoot me a pm if you can't find an answer ......No drama please.. Simply nominate and walk away.

There are a few changes so please read carefuly... For thoes of you who my have trouble reading please refer to the classified thread, I believe there is still a set of Hooked On Phonics for sale, if not, I'm sure you can find one in Babys R' Us.

You can NOT nominate yourself...

Nominations will run untill mid month, then a poll will be put up for everyone to vote on their favorite car and owner.

Voting should be based on all aspects of the car including appearance, suspension, driveline, interior, engine, etc.

If you are nominated, You are responsible for putting up a link to your own GARAGE in this thread. In your garage please include everything. It makes it alot easier for me to put this thing together every month.

With that being said... Good Luck everyone and let the nominations roll on in!


Rules for ride of the month
YOU CAN NOT NOMINATE YOUR SELF....................hmm.gif

Nominations will run till mid month, then a Poll will be put up for everyone to vote on their favorite.

Information on the car...mods,pics,video's etc. attached would be nice.

Voting should be based on all aspects of car including appearance, suspension, driveline, interior etc.

If you are selling your car,your car not be nominated

Participation in meets ,track days , & forum should be a consideration as well. We want a car/owner that represents what Bostonstangs is all about.

The winning car can not be nominated again for a year. If person has multiple vehicles or different car it can be nominated/win.

Must be an ACTIVE member for a month with at least 10 posts before being allowed to vote or win.

Must post VOTED in thread when voting begins so votes can be kept track of.

Rules may be changed or added to make this work better if need be. This is just to get things started.... input from members is WELCOME!!!!

not popularity contest his cobra just got more votes, honestly your car is sick but there are people who love foxes and how much better can you get than a 93 cobra for a foxbody?

With the way you had it set up, it leaves it only open for a poplularity contest.

Since there was no pics for any rides, and I personally don't know everyones car, I voted for who I knew.

There needs to be some things tuned on this for it to work smoothly.

I would request that anyone that nominates someone, link to their garage or post pics of such ride.

Do make sure you have each name with a link to an album or photos on the poll.

If you don't do at least that, its only a popularity contest as I personally won't dig for each persons pics, I am going with a name I know.

totally off topic but im sorry if i drive an expensive car and i learned my lesson about 10 years ago that turning wrenchs and dumping 5k into a foxbody is a waste of time ....let me guess if you could have afforded your 11 GT you had you would still have traded it in because AC and comfort sucks compared to your foxbody ?

Isn't the ride of the month supposed to be a nice clean and well done car? I don't think a black 93 cobra that has no motor in it based on the pictures should win. This red cobra leaves a lot to be desired for a ride of the month winner as well. I vote for forced fed's yellow notch. That car at least runs/drives.

Who really cares if someone puts in the wrench time on a car or not. A quality well put together car is what should be winning regardless of its year.

i wouldnt have i would keep it anyday im actualy sick of fox bodies thats why i have a zephyr i wanted something different id love to have a car like yours i wasnt dising on it but my 2011 lost to fox bodies twice in a row i still posted my garage and didnt cry that i lost cause its a popularity contest

no motor in a couple of pics but now it has a 300hp+ 308 in it thats why its sick oh and the fact it is low low miles helps.
i dont know why rotm is being a problem with you guys just cause i said its one of the best foxes made and its sick dosnt mean that the other voters said the same thing. i love the new cars like mystics 03 cobra because of power and comfort thats why my notch has a 4.6 in it.

i don't care about rustang of the month and don't worry about putting in wrenching hours i have already done my fair share including projects most would not even attempt ....just cause i don't put a build thread doesn't mean the motor isn't out of my cobra a day after i bought it
