Anyone tried the Ford Racing short throw for foxes?

Hey has anyone tried the Ford Racing short throw on a fox? The one with the tall chrome Hurst handle and white ball knob...I'm wondering how it shifts and if it sits too high in the car for comfort? Who has it or has tried shifting on it in a fox??

Tim what are you using for a boot on the Hurst in the 85? Stock boot? And as far as the other shifters...I know MGW is pretty good, I had it in my old notch but I just want something different than the traditional low-sitting short throws. I like the looks of the tall chrome Hurst handles and shit, more of an old school muscle car look.

Thanks man I think that answers my question, I'm gonna order that shifter for my 86 soon. Do you know if the stock boot from a 4 eyed car will fit around that chrome handle? And for some reason on jegs.com its under Ford Racing even though I believe its a Hurst...Weird

jay has it in his car, its sick. i know they sell the hurst one with a replacement plastic piece in the 86 so you dont use a stock boot.
