if it's already a 306 dont bother with the 347, you dont want to bore a block too many times. It'll weaken it and make it more likely to break especially if you're going to s/c it or nitrous it. Now if you sold the 306 and then bought a 347 that's one thing.

300 rw like mikeheath said you are lower compression and 89notchbacks car is a 331 with higher compression alot of us remember when he posted the day he went to the dyno...my advise is to stroke it to 331 or 347 and if you want to stay n/a raise the compression the main thing that will hold you back is those gt40s maybe bump up injector size to 30 but the 24s will do fine....shawn he wouldnt need to rebore the block really but he would need to clearence the block for 347 and i think 331 also either way gl man and next time try to put it into the correct section ill move it for you

my guess would be around 280-300 rwhp, i have a 302 with better heads same intake, injectors rockers and similar spec cam and much better aluminum heads ported, long tube headers and n/a anderson powerpipe and 4.10's and my car made 285 to the tire

I'd say go 347 or 306 or even 350 u will have a better chance to make more power

I dont like ppl that lie...i bought a pair of shitty heads off of some dude that fucking lies to ppl, telling me he made 330whp on a tired 302 when they were actually on a built 331 barley making 300....im selling them and getting AFR 185s!....this forum has alot of drama and thats comming for a 18 yearold kidd i dont kno why ppl dont keep it reallllllllllllllll! ...im here to learn and have some fun with ppl that also enjoy mustang and building them...ill post my dyno sheets when im done. and i kno theres alot of cool peeps on here so if u arent a bullshitter dont mind what i said..thankss everyone for the input...my goal is 350+ WHEEL hp...and ill buy w.e i need to make a 350whp N/A notch.

if u want 100 percent na you can make the power easier carb but possible with efi raise compression to around 10.0.1 or 10.5.1 use either 185 or 205 afr heads nice cam honest go custom ground or a nasty anderson one..use the trickflow intake you have or get a systemaxx....you are on a good start man gl

honestly man i think you throw some afrs or even edelbrock preformers like i had on my gt on that 306 youll make a solid 300rw and it will be a super fun car i had more fuun with my 300 horse gt than anything else so far it was reliable and fun to drive but gl eitherway man
