YEP I HAVE DONE IT BUT IT CERTAINLY WASN'T THE RIGHT WAY TO DO IT

where does it connect to the body?

i know there spot welds in the hatch and door jamb

the car needs a frame pull anyway so dont really care how its done as long as it looks str8

cut it off another car, an cut the dented one on yours an smooth out the welds..i did it on my camaro an its MINT. takes alot of sanding

I'd like to do it right I'm not in any hurry I just don't want to go cutting into it without any idea of what i'm doing... and being a rust free car it's worth fixing. its my old 93 LX that i swiped a while ago. still lookin sexy

take the light out u will find a few more spot welds and once the quarter windows out u will find more worst 1 is the one the connects the roof to the quarter but still simple fix...you replacing with a new rear quarter or used? make sure the top cut is measured precise

im thinking of using the quarter off my LX parts car.

is it spot welded to the roof or is it one piece and has to be welded in?

if the car is as clean as you say it is and ZERO rust why not pull interior and all parts out pay a shop to do it right then reassemble yourself ? i cant see the logic of a clean body but hacked rear qtr .

the car needs to be pulled on a frame machine prior to taking the 1/4 off
