So i have a 86 coupe with a 2v MMR built 5.4 with a single M&P T70. The car is street driven a lot. Don't care much for drag racing, much rather hit twisties. I'm thinking twin Garrett GT28r's would be better for what i want with the car or maybe im just stupid and like spending money i shouldn't. None the less im looking for input so please chime in.....
Also has anyone done a hydraulic clutch in their fox or sn? I drove my buddies 2011 GT500 and loved the soft clutch. Call me a pussy but i sit in traffic or RT3 south daily, I drive 150 miles a day in the city.
It looks so lonely doesn't it......

i like the single turbo i thik it looks sick and i dont know about doing it in your car but the hydrolic clutch in my car is awesome grips nasty and is easy to push in i remember in fox bodies my leg would get so sick of pushing in the clutch
It's never been to the dyno actually, my buddy who i got the car is my tuner and everytime we tried to go i just never worked out. The problem with megasquirt is no one wants to tune them...
on some cars a tune is night and day ide put a sweet tune in it and see if you like the power i think the turbo kit was well fabbed and looks good as for the clutch i like cable clutchs and the feel what brand clutch do you have in it
twins would be sick, have you cranked up the boost since the mmr block? If you do go twins, I might be interested in the t70. oh yeah, How did those tires work out?
Street car then twins all the way. 2 small turbos will spool up quick and give you the power you need. A big single is less tubing, oil lines, etc and also allows more room in the engine bay. I would do twins on a street car though. Big singles take a bit longer to spool than small twins and in the end you get similar power.
You do have the 5.4 though so you should have the torque to get the single turbo going. If you already have a single setup then stick with that. I would think a TT 5.4 would have some serious low end torque though.
im pretty sure the header flanges warped, after whaling it one day it started leaking pretty bad. their motorsprt stainless headers flipped. so if im gonna build new stronger headers, i gotta pull the motor out to do it so fuck it at that point twins all the way. im gonna run the 03 cobra computer with a handheld. i know it will be more complicated and take up more room and all nut hey. i been complicating my life unnecessarily from childhood. why stop now!!! a few good snow storms and ill be able to buy the twins....
