WELL finally getting some pics up of my 1985 mustang gt EFI swap and 87-93 black interior swap , at this point i have the engine , trans , and interior out , tommorow i'm going to degrease the engine bay clean the shit out of it and then black out the engine bay . The pictures don't show it but tonight me and Dan Kuja ripped out all the wiring and took out the dash and wiring , i will take a few more shots when i'm de-assing the engine bay . Got tons done this week thanks to the help from my sidekick KUJA !!! Thanks DaN!!! ONCE the engine bay is blacked out i will work on the front suspension 5-lug swap and EFI engine harness install .
Looks really good man if u paint the bay what u doing it with I'm gonna brush mine with por15 looks nice and is really strong really like the 85 man keep the work up and keep us posted
Looks like a great project, I love the fours eyes cars! Justmake sure you pull all the wiring out of one car for the swap, I had a big headache with the wrong harness for the motor. Good luck
thanks guys , ya i have a ways to go but it should be a nice cruiser when i'm done , i'm just blacking out the engine bay i always liked that look , what is por15?
I'll get u a link to the por15 it's a little pricy but will last longer than anything else is used on my door jams and it came out awesome and my trunk jam it's self leveling g pai t it jut can't b exposed to sun so if it is u need to put a top coat but for u der the hood it's fine
cool i will check it out , thanks for the link ! performance wise , not going to crazy , shorty headers , msd , electric fan , 3:73 rear end , 30lb injectors , 70mm mass air , 70 mm throttle body and spacer , cobra intake , 5-lug conversion , lowering springs , poly motor/trans mounts , aluminum drive shaft , hurst short throw shifter , strut tower brace , 18" chrome saleen wheels , thats about it , just a nice cruiser that i can get in and go
did some grinding and priming today hope to have the engine bay done this weekend so i can start putting harness and black dash in next week yay!! i bought por15 for engine bay and undercarraige.
well i'm tired now but thanks to dan kuja i got alot done today , finished engine bay with a couple coats of por15 , dropped k member , de-assed wirebrushed sand /painted k member , tommorow the plan is to put member back in and start bolting new suspension and 5-lug stuff , doing 01 spindles and calipers , starting to look like a project now lol!!!!
What are you running for wheels? Remember that those spindles won't allow you to run a 9" wheel up front. It will push the rim out to far. To keep the stock track width you need to run 94 or 95 spindles.
