if their stock bullits yea 275 is the biggest but 245 is really the size you want unless its a 9 inch rim...

Bingo! Any bigger and it would look silly and be unsafe.

275s on stock 8 inch is still a little wide 275s perfect for 9s

255/45/17 did come on the 94-95 cobra with 17x9, but a 275/40/17 will fit although the sidewall bulge may cause flex and affect handling

bad idea, 255/40's will cause the traction control to turn on because they're shorter then the factory size. 275/40's fit fine and they're the same height as factory, so no worries about speedo correction or traction control issues.

That's true if his his '01 has ABS/TC. Not all of them did. Part of the premium package and optional on the deluxe...until 04 where it was optional across the GT lineup

I think the threshold is 3% rotational difference front to rear before the ABS will fault and turn off

oh really? i didn't know that was an option. my car is a low option car and of course, i'm stuck with it. i hate traction control...

Yeah, for '01 is was an option on the deluxe (the model that didn't come with bullitts)

I didn't mind t/C when i had it. as long as it wasn't raining or snowing, i turned it off.
