Car is a POS now. My buddy went and saw it and was able to confirm that is was mine. Pretty sad to see it actually because I always wondered what happened to it. It used to have bullitt wheels on it and all black interior back 7 years ago when I owned it. Oh yeah it was also emerald green which is the original color. I got it in 1999 and sold it in 2003.
I'm so sad to see what happened to it. This guy is the 3rd owner since me. Its too bad because it was a nice fox that wasn't all rotted out or hacked up. Iput a real black interior in it, no dyed stuff. Real 5 lug conversion too, no LSC stuff. Such a waste of a good car.
Just throwing it out there as I know some of you guys like to wheel and deal to make a couple bucks on stuff. This car isn't worth $3000 anymore.
i went and seen that car 1 month ago it looks like it was once nice threw the floor subframes 5 lug ectect i didnt buy it because it had no door handles and probe front seat and a bunch of other misc stuff
Try that one. This site doesn't allow you to click on web links I don't think. Its the only forum I go on that doesn't. If you go to southcoast craigslist and type in Wareham and search you will see it. Title of the ad is a "92 notch back 5.0 - $3000 (wareham)"
Car looks ok in the pics other than the fender, go see it in person and you will see what my buddy saw.

Those are tube chassis subframes that I had installed. I also did all the gauges in it too. The front seats are actually Acura Integra GSR seats. Its not worth anywhere near $3000 now. Maybe $1200-$1500 and then maybe you could squeeze $2000-$2200 if you are lucky. I guess since it left me someone blew the motor up along with losing the Bullitt wheels.
that link works... like i said in my edit above when u posted a pic of it before it was 100x better, a shame compared to what it was
It so disappointing because I have always wondered what happened to it and I was hoping someone took care of it. Its quite obvious it has become another typical POS fox body.

Good thing I read this post. I was going to go check this out. Doesn't look bad from the pics. It's a shame that all stangs (well most) that are around the 3k mark are such shit boxes.
Damn if you guys think in it present states its not that bad you would have loved it when I owned it. Notchdan remembers that car back in the day. He sold me the bullit wheels it had on it.
Hard to really tell from the pics the actual condition really.
I've seen a lot of CL gems that look good in the ad, turn out to be a bust in person. Asking price of $4500, but the car isn't worth much more than $2000-2500 really.
Kinda makes me really wonder what i would ask if i were ever crazy enough to sell my car.
I hope it still has what I put into it. Obviously the wheels and hood are gone. Good luck with the car and when you are done it will be interesting to see how much you can get for it. It needed nothing when I owned it.
Basically to see this car now and to hear the new owner say its a rat says alot. When I owned it thats the last thing anyone would say about it. Back then it was a $5000 car all day long. Now look what $5000 gets you for a fox body, h/c/i blower cars. Most of you guys are too young to know the car when I had it and you just know fox bodies in todays world, not 10 years ago when they were worth huge money.
the shaved door handles are gay and some hack dyed all the interior black and put acura integra seats, and acura seat belts, there is some real black pieces the carpet and headliner and the acura parts, they put great stuff foam under the carpet to level the floor to the thru floor connetors and make the import seats fit
and the paint job is not quality work at all , but its gonna get sand blasted and repainted this winter so i dont care, i just wanted a notch that wasnt rusty or rotted and this car is def that
I hope you can make it nice again like when I had it. No idea why there is dyed interior in it, I put real Ford black in it. Good luck stripping it and making it nice again. Somehow I think that car hasn't been treated very well since I owned and make sure you get some nice rims for it!!!!
i like that notch, some of the stuff is gay like shaved door handles but i think its legit but the engine bay is gross and stock so once that comes out then progress can be made
hey guys im T76s buddy who went and looked at the car ...the reason i walked on the car was it was to much for me ..i helped do the 5 lug swap , stereo , alarm system and the seats came from one of my old Integras ...at the time 1999ish black seats were hard to come by so we put those seats in and they are comfortable ...
like Sled has said interior was dyed , glove box door missing , HUGE hole in a black headliner and other stuff i didnt like ...the car does need some loving and if wants to put the time and effort into good for him ...
but from what the car was to where it sits today YES the car POS
to say its a peace of shit compared to what it used to be doesnt mean much... might not be what it was in her prime but still a clean car and a good slate to start with for what tim wants to do
Seven years and a couple owners, of course its seen better days, but as long as its a strait rust free body, everything else is just cosmetic. Im sure it will be nice again. good luck with it Tim
