Throttle lag after cold start?

I have a 93 mustang gt, recently installed new spark plugs (duel platinum), wires, distribution cap, rotor, fuel filter, pcv valve. The timing is set. Running 93 octane (always).

If I start the car up cold I experience throttle lag and can't accelerate that well. If the engine is warm I don't experience any performance issues..

Any ideas? Thanks :)

Possibly the temp. sensor . Fuel injected cars read this to adjust the fuel mixture from rich when cold to lean when warm . It may be that the car is to lean when cold because of the temp sensor .

Run the check engine codes. Do it when the car is cold, as well as when hot....engine off and engine running codes

keep in mind when cold, the car will ALWAYS throw a code 21 (ECT sensor) and may throw an ACT code (28 i think??). BUT, when fully warmed up, those codes should be gone completely.
