The machinist position might be the one you guys here would be interested in. It basically is a bus mechanic. They train you as you work and get you your class b license within the first 3 weeks working. Its a good job with security and bennies . They do random drug testing..... They bump your pay every 6 months.Top pay is achieved after 2 years of training. But top pay will increase as contract ends this july........It is a union job..........They love to hire auto mechanics.

I work with people from new hampshire and rhode island . This job is well worth the commute. Some people i work with everyday live in Franklin,Tiverton R.I., Buzzards bay and Middleboro.

It all depends on when the shift starts.......The T is open 24/7 .......

12-8 am, 7:30 -4pm ,4-12 mid.

im a machnist ....but i read this and i see mechanic ....and read a test requirments to diagnose buses ?? how could i do this if im a machnist im gonna apply but i make chips ....and do cnc prgramming /setups using master cam and solid works

Yes the T calls us machinists but we are indeed bus mechanics.....
