if your talking about what % tint, i have 13% on driver/passenger and 6% on quarters/rear window/sunroof

Prob the on glass VLT reading. If you put 35% tint on glass, it reads darker due to the glass having a slight tint already...usually 80%

So, 80% stock window + 35% film = (.80 x .35 = .28) = 28% VLT.


So 16% would be using 20% film



I have 35% film on my car....reads 27% on a meter (i own a tint meter)...which is illegal but i've been fine (knock on wood)

To be legal in MA, you would need to put 45% film on your windows.

i have 20% on the front and 5 on the backs and rear... i have 15 on the back of my truck and 20 on front.. did the fronts myself. it fucking sucked. pay the money and get it done

took me like 3 times each window i still have a few bubbles and creases, and it tore in one spot so i have an inch spot along the bottom thats like a millimeter high and it lets light in. drives me nuts but i don't have the money to get them done now ahh

lol i'm getn it for my ecplipse gsx....the stangs getn 5% rear windows, an 20% front. How much does knights charge??

I got my tint done at Ziebart... You have to sign a waiver if you want anything under 35% which is legal in MA.
