My exhuast is waaay to quiet at idle...whats the loudest one out lol??. i'm willing to put glasspacks in if anybody thinks that would help?!?

loudest on a 4.6 is slp but souds like shit mac with a h pipe is the nastyest souding 4.6 shit out there

my buddy had the best sounding mustang (minus the wine of a supercharger) he had: Mac LongTube headers, Mac Prochamber, Flowmaster 40s

it matters the whole way through, headers help performance (yes more HPs lol) and sound. An H pipe will change it (if its stock) but you'll need highflow cats and some tail pipping (i suggest around 3" isnt TOO much)

I gotta see what i have on it lol, its not a stock exhuast but its just quiet....my motors louder at idle wich i dont like

replace it with a completely stock system from ford the more cats you got the louder it is

yukes magnaflows sound good.. i have FFRP axle backs that im not too impressed with... sound good at idle but not low rpms, but they explode at high ones... yukes magnaflows (not the magnapacks the one below that) sound good all the way through... a little more drone then mine but not nearly as much as flowmasters... id recommend them

Go on youtube and just listen to exhaust clips. The loudest sounding exhaust doesn't necessarily sound the best IMHO.

Of course, everyone has their opinions on the "best" exhaust system, so you'll get more opinion than fact.

An off-road pipe would def help if you don't mind the smell, fumes and potential legal issues.

yeah flowmaster drone on the highway kinda blows. good thing i always have the top down

chambered mufflers sound great but I recommend any straight through design for performance. Oh yeah I hate that drone, too!

it took awhile for the letter to come in the mail, an i loose it this friday...black ice sucks dick, i totally spun cuz it was a turn an a mailbox came through my driver's door window an it like exploded in my face/ not to mention the tree tht drilled my driver side qaurta panel wiked hard.....took me a gd 10min jst to get outta the car an by the time i did a cop was walking towards the car asking me if i had my belt on an if i'm okay an what not. i'll post osme pics in the PICS area soon lol

and i dont know why everyone hates slp my old vert has slp and my causins 02 gt has slp i think they sound nasty wicked loud but just my opion i run glass packs and stock tail pipes or no tail pipes can be done for like 60 bucks

lets see i am running right now an off road x into resonators then out 3" tips

i like the way is sounds and i have alot of people tell me is sounds good
they even siop me in mparking lots in trffic just to tell me it sounds good

whatever dude i get complaments from some people and some people dont like them ive had 8 mustangs with all kinds of exhuast my car has full length glass packs and my causins has 10inch glass packs they sound nasty at an idle good mid rpm and children run in fear when ya stomp on it import drivers piss them selves when it snaps and sets off there alarm to each there own
