only difference is the old 5.0s make 210hp while these make over 400...
and 6500 rpm? dont think my tach even goes that high right now haha
hopefully the price doesnt jump to that of the camaro... if the mustang beats the camaro at all these tests with 75% of the horsepower, much less weight, and the price way over 5 grand cheaper we can only hope the price stays down... and still be better then camaros
i heard they only really updated the v8 because the v6 will be putting out over 300 hp (which it should have been a while ago) and the gain for the gt had to be much more than that
i just wish they would fix the rear of the 2010+ i hate the chopped off look...

I think they should drop the shitty v6 line altogether, the 80's 4cyl were good on gas unlike the v6's that just suck and make 0 power. I understand they might be tubroing the v6 or have it will stock 300hp or whatever but for the lost gas mileage might as well get the v8.

the sucsess of the 4cyl and 6cyl mustangs is why it has lasted as long as it has
agreed-- the v6 mustang and old 4cyls are still the best bang for the buck out there. great styling and quality for dirt cheap money... and the performance of the v6 is better then any honda accord coupe or anyhting it competes with. and you can p[ick one up with like 20k for under 10 grand

just to throw this out there um i heard they gained that power by rasing compression to 10.5.1 um wont that throw a problem for the people who like boost?
CR hasn't been released yet as far as i know, but i'd imagine it up in the 11.0:1 range. Yes, that puts a serious hurt to anyone wanting to add a blower.
We'll have to wait and see what the final specs are i guess.
i read an article saying it was 10.5:1 and it was going to put a severve halt on aftermarket companys as far as blowers.. but hey, its alreayd got 112 hp over the 05-09 and like over 150 on the model before that, and nearly double the models before that... do you really need the blower?

Nice car for the person that can afford to have it !!! I remember when you could buy a new LX or GT for around 15g's . Now it's 30g's plus plus !!! I bet the new car will be closer to 40,000. all optioned out . The reason I like the mustang is it's bang for the buck ! But now you have to have alot of bucks to get the bang ! I still can't afford the 05 GT !! LOL !! Nevermind the "10" LOL !!
From what i've read...the Brembo's are an optional package. There is a kit to install these on Sn95 spindles....so glad to see more will be available so i can grab a set used
