Don't forget a boost refrence fpr or a fmu with the right spring for the injectors you are using. As for the piping, I made my inlet and intercooler piping out of cheap alum. Pipe off eBay. But the rubber couplings that come with the kit, kind of suck. I would buy some decent hoses.

The A trim is a 5-6 psi kit right? If it is you should be ok w/o a boost timing master or chip, if your on a budget, unless you already have one.
Good luck on the build.

I am not sure about vortech, but on my powerdyne 6# the fmu had a set screw that adjusted the spring by how many turns to what inj. size. That info you will need to get from vortech. But he is right you are better off not using the fmu, it all depends on how tight your budget really is. A big pump with a quality regulator would be better. I ran my 6# blower with fmu and 255 intank on a stock 5.0 5 spd and had a lot of fun for 3 summers. As for the cheap pipe I'm running 11psi thru mine this past summer, no problems (knock on wood)
