I got out of bootcamp about 3 weeks ago and now im stationed in Boston lol. The station is right in the north end. What kind of cool stuff is there to do around here? I'm still finding my way around lol. i know i will defenetly be up a NED in the spring. Good to see the club is still alive and i hop everyone is doing good

thats cool...im from southie in the Marines stationed in NC....looking into bein a coastie if i reinlist into the military..go into to the city theres stuff to do everywhere..or if u want some extra motivation go see a bruins or patriots game lol

how was the coast guard boot camp? and are u a reserve ?

haha china town. but yea bootcamp sucks but like i tell everyone its only 8 weeks its worth it in the end and im active duty

i dont have to go to coastie boot if i re-enlist with them woohoo..lol...but were out of boston harbor r u working out of..specific job? gunner? etc.

you would have to go for like 4 weeks just to take some coast guard classes i saw some prior service guys doing while i was there but its easy you go on your own schedule they dont make you push until you cant hold yourself up or run like 6 miles like a recruit has to. The station is in the north end where all the italian resturants are. I'm waiting to go to school to be a machinery technician right now i just help the mechanics out.

yea im a crewchief door gunner on a UH-1..so iv been threw all the stuff the navy rescue swimmers have to go threw and all that good stuff!!..cant wait to go to Afghanastan and get someee!!
