i have a clean 1986 2wd ranger 6 foot bed 4cyl 5 speed
i also have a rebuilt 93 5.0 bolted to a new t5 and new clutch
making motor mounts, exhaust, drive shaft ,fuel lines return lines that's all easy stuff for me
my question is has anybody on here ever made a mustang injection harness work in something other than a mustang (jeep, toyota truck, supra, ranger) and have any pointers or diagrams
i want the ranger 5.0 5 speed and fuel injected with a 95 lightning upper 24 lb injectors flat black sitting on bullits or 03 cobras i already have lightning seats and stuff like that

I dont really have to much experiance with the 302 but i put a fuel injected 305 chevy in my 94 toyota and its reallly not that bad.
for the chevy it was only a few wires to make everything work like: constant power to the ecu, switched power to the ecu, and ground to the ecu where the main things.
Other things like check engine light, speed sensor are easy to figure out with manuals for both rigs. I even hooked up the data link connector so you could still pull codes with a scan tool!
I wouldnt think it would be too much differant with the ford. and it should be alot easier going from ford to ford, not chevy to toyota.
with wiring diagrams you can put a fuel injected motor in anything with a little time and research.
