So.... for starters i had my appointment at 430 at MPE to get the car tuned/dynoed . supercharger was FINNALY finished / installed at 545... due to missing parts / problems , so i get right near the highway and my fucking coolant hose pops off.. delays me another 30 minutes..finnaly get to MPE and get it tuned...some good news.. 495 hp , 430 tq 11 lbs of boost.. not to bad for him being on the "safe side " .. so i leave the dyno at 11:15 roughly ( PM ) 600 dollars later ... start going down the road around 12 my car breaks down ( course just my luck ) no idea wat it is.. car turns off sounds like its out of gas.. tow finnaly shows up at 12:50 puts gas in the car. still nothing car just wont start.. probably the fuel pump wasnt set up correctly and loose. also to tell me that he cant take me back with the car.. aka call a taxi! whitman MA to Woburn ma 78 dollars.. thanks! 3am in the morning getting back home .. next morning going back to my mechanic to find i cant find my alt car that i left there ... hmmm i go inside the owners father has NO idea where it is.. after 30 mins of looking he calls his son my mechanic . to find he moved the car up the street for no reason where i couldnt find it... when can i get some GOOD NEWS!!!!!!
sux to hear man ...but MPE sux also ...happened to my buddy years back when Chris was over in taunton ...buddy got his car tuned and thing kept stalling ...so chris decides to play mechanic on the car and adjusts throttle and what not messed car up even more then just pulls CHIP out of computer ....well guess what car is still messed up and not running right so after making my friend buy a new sensor and still doesnt fix it my buddy brings it to HIS mechanic and he fixs everything back to factory and he brought it somewhere else to get tuned ...im not a big fan of MPE
If I follow your story correctly .... you installed the supercharger and drove the car to MPE ? If thats the case ... for one.. I myself would not have driven it with no tune ..Yikes !!! I also wouldn't be surprised if the problem is a result of Chris's tune .. It sucks your night turned to shit , but you did leave with some good numbers .... Your car makes 550 hp !! Congrats !
i like mpe guys are REALLY nice there chris helped me out ALOT the car ran great after the tune / dyno , i kno its the fuel pump just sucks.. not to mention after i broke down on the side of the road chris came all the way out just to try and help me out so i wasnt stuck on the side of the road.. i thought that was really nice at 130 AM when .. but anyywas ya just my luck :(
from who? lol and ya i think thats wat it was./.. i HOPE thats wat it was cause my mechanic will fix it! hah if anything else went wrong .. it will suck bassically
Dont u ever say that again! lol... it was the fuel pump the paxton fuel pump they supply is garbage john said hes gonna fix it up and get it back to me tommorow
