Just as the title reads.. I need one.. I no longer have the need for cd's as I have purchased an ipod a few months ago.. and would like to have a cassette deck in the car with audio out puts so I can still have the amp hooked up to it.. and I will eventually buy the cassette with the wire to hook directly to the ipod. So to make a long story short.. if anyone has one they don't need that you just want to give away for free that would be great... but if you got one for cheap that'll be great as well.. Thank you. headbang.gif

i would buy a cd payer with INputs and get the ipod kit to hook up to the inputs. its a lot better lookin .

Ok I see your guy's points.. I did that with my system I have in my Jeep.. I bought the special wire for my ipod that connects to the back of the cd player.. Thing is I can't afford to by another cd player with ipod inputs to put in my Mustang... I'd rather buy a cheap tape deck and use the cassette with wire and do it that way.. I could care less about appearance.. As long as its cheap or free, and has the audio inputs so I can hook the amp and subs up, it's all good.. Besides what's the point of the cd player if I plan on not using cd's? Just my two cents. smile.gif

What about a cheap cd with just an aux input? You can get them cheap with one set of pre-outs for subs.

i think the point is, he doent want to spend money, so he thought someone may have a tape deck from the early 90's laying around with out puts.

Yeah you guy's are right.. Hey it didn't hurt to ask right? LOL Wheels I am going to be searching for a cd deck that has the ipod jack input in the front and go from there.. I'm sure there is a simi-cheap one out there.. Thanks again guy's for your help smile.gif

ya i mean u can find cd decks CHEAP CHEAP now.. go on clist im like 100% sure ul find one for like 50 bucks... i sold mine awhile ago for 50 bucks with ipod jack.. search craigslist or ebay to bad my gf couldnt find her stock radio or she would give u hers another one of my old ones lol has a ipod hookup as well .. anyways good luck

my buddy got one saw it today sony tape deck with rca output ...even better has audio input jacks on the back you might be able to use for the ipod ..he said 20 bucks its yours
