i have done this with no issues at all yes its about a inch wider on both sides ............i had a 80 notch with complete suspension from a 98 cobra the thing handled nasty i ran a 275/4017 all the way around ......
.personally i think its a nice upgrade just make sure to remove the residual pressure check valve or the rear brakes will drag

So its only an inch on both sides that isnt that bad. Did the wheels stick out a ton and look horrible or was it acceptable lookin. I just dont want to do it and then have it look odd but its a really nice rear end with a posi and it comes with a set 0f 17 in cobra rims and tires so i would really like to do it if i could.
And mineral i will keep you updated. I am gonna post somethin in the classified about all the parts my friend has up. Its a 94 cobra clone that is now totalled as of 3 days ago. sucks for him but everything thats good is bein sold. The motor is nasty and he just put a complete exhaust on it with Flowmasters a week ago.
no they do not stick out ......it looked normal except for the front it said cobra on the caliper ....i can also install it if you need someone to do the work
