67 - Clutch switch circuit failure 81 - Air management 2 circuit failure 26 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) out of range 66 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) signal low 16 - IDM signal not received 94 - AIR system inoperative
i got these by counting the check engine lights so im not 100% accurate on the readings.
whenever i have the car at WOT its fine but right after i let off the check engine light comes on and blinks.. sometimes stays on. that is followed by the car sputtering/bucking/hesitating. when it does this i floored it once and it backfired out the exhaust.
i scanned it couple days ago using a snapon and it said bank 1 system lean and no hego switching detected.
my mass air meter is brand new and is calibrated for the 24lb injectors so i dont know what the deal is with that. the car runs fine at WOT its just like soon after it runs like crap. im thinking its the fuel pump?
only codes that you should be concerned with are the mass air ones try a different meter and see if it still works. all the other does shouldnt have a light stay on
You should also verify that you are getting 5 volts at the meter . Use a voltmeter and back probe the mass air meter wire that feeds 5 volts to it ...at the meter ( sorry not sure which wire it is ) and turn the ignition on . One of them is the 5 volt feed and one is the return to the computer and one is the computer ground . Once you figure out which wire is feeding 5 volts .... find the wire that sends the signal back to the computer . With the car running at operating temp . rev the car and watch the voltmeter to see if the meter is sending the signal back to the computer . The meter works by resistance ( much like a light dimmer switch in your house ) as you rev the car the feed back wire will increase with volts to a max of 5 volts . If the feed wire has no signal ( 5 volts ) at the meter ... then you have to check the wire between the computer and the meter for a break by checking for 5 volts at the pin on the ECM .
