site has too little activity. its a small amount a month if every active user contributed but they don't. you may have to look at alternative options. plus there are some guys who have donated way too much IMO.

think this has been gone over before ....but im all set with donating there is to much deleting and threats of banning to donate to a site ....im all set with making a post butting heads with another member just to go back and have it all deleted by a Mod ...and you want me to donate to that ??

I am not saying anyone has to do it.but it would help us keep the site.cause i can't pay for it every month.i have other things to take care of first.(kid's) members sell stuff on here all the time,And as of some one putting to much money on the site.Thats because they wanted to and that shows how much they like the site.

I agree with donating, but honestly this site could be run for much cheaper than the $45 a month it is where it is now. I know it would be a lot of work switching but mine costs me $9.95 a month and the hosting could support a site this size no problem.

maybe like Jim or some of the other moderators could collect some like $1s or something at meets or something because alot of us on this site probably dont have paypal... like myself but i would be willing to give like 5 bucks every now and then to keep this site up

If no one wants to donate then no one will, therefore there will be no money, yes advertisement but really? you going to dump 100% of that money to keep this site running? I understand that with having this site burnoutbox comes free but i think more people will donate to burnoutbox then this site. IMO
This site is still the same mess it has been for over a year, everyone says they are going to meets, dont show, and bitch about the locations of others meanwhile not going to one close to them. We have all tried hard in turning this site around and there is no noticable change... I think its time to make a decision and stick with it... I would sell it or shut it down and walk away.
I agree with not switching over becuase IMO it wouldnt be worth the trouble this site gives.. if it was a smooth running, great attitude, great member support site then you'd be nuts not to switch over but with the site standing where it does today its not worth a minute of time.

My response is not taking shots at anyone, but rather just my opinion. I think there is room for improvement.. I know some will probably say, well it's been tried and done before etc etc etc etc, but I'm not a quitter and I believe improvements can be made.. Not everything can be done in one day.. The Wall of china wasn't built in one day.. Your cars that you all work so hard on wasn't built in one day right? Some things take a little time, and sometimes it's worth it in the end.. I for one would like to see improvements happen. I have learned that you can't make everyone happy all at once.. Some people will like the way things are on the site, and some wont.. It is what it is, and will always be that way. But that doesn't mean we should give up on the site just yet.. So the mods and I will most likely be going over some stuff about the site and go from there.. Until then, that is all I have to say for now. And thank you all for your responses and input.

what do you guys expect out of a website it is what it is. there are tons of forums out there and this happens to be a local one. anything more than what it is now is just unreasonable. I think some people have heaven envisioned here. if you can buy trade or sell parts and meet a few decent guys along the way great. anything more expected is just not going to happen.

I'm not saying it's going to be more than what it is now, I'm just saying the site will improve as far as the funding aspect of it, that's about it.. It's in the works. So hopefully it will turn out for the best that's all.. Doesn't hurt to try. And you know what, your right, it is a local forum, and there is always going to be something, but again like I have stated, there's no reason to give up so quickly until all the angles have been attempted.. There's a loop hole to everything, it's all of matter of finding that way out and having it end with good results. Like most of you, I too have came onto this site to share and still do share the same interest of owning and wanting to do things to my mustang, meet new people and hang out and what not, and I don't having anything personal against anyone on the site, all I have is a concern for the site. I like coming on here and would hate to see it go, due to the fact that I don't know of many sites that are local, and if I need something as far as purchasing parts from someone it's easier to get and such. But I guess we'll have to see what happens.. Again thanks guys for your input.

I got so attached to this site because my friend has had a camaro for awhile and he said that they only local camaro clubs are a bunch of douche bags who are snobs and treat each other like shit which is the exact opposite of whats done here and that's why I personally like it.
