i finally have the funds for a h/c/i combo. so far i have a pretty much stock motor with the exception of a large throttle body and mass air meter with a tuned cai.

my budget is $2k my best option looks like this topend kit by LRS

i found a set of 24lb injectors for $65 and i have a 255lph fuel pump

can i get away with not buying new pushrods and tearing too far internally into the motor? ill be doing all the work myself. also wondering if i need to buy anything to switch over to the stud roller rockers

push rods are cheap insurance since you have to take them out to do a head swap. I think you can get stock replacements for like $1.00/per rod @Autozone... and they're Melling rods.

im new to this scene and i didnt know they made adjustable pushrods until i did a google search this morning lol so im just gunna buy one of those and determine what size i need.
