Hey everyone... im Mark and im from Beverly,ma and i own a 1987 GT T-Top 5 Speed I bought it about 2 years ago as a toy for myself as i have a 04 Tahoe as my daily driver.. So in between payments on that i do upgrades here and there.. Of course i had to start out with the exhaust.. And after doing it over about 3 times i think im happy where i am.. The set up i have now is shorty headers, off road h pipe, no cats and Magnaflow Race Straight Pipes.. I love the way it sounds.. Its mellow at idle but when i get on it (and thats often) its pretty much straight exhaust.. As far as other upgrades i dont have much so far except 3:73 gears which is the best thing you can do to a car in my opinion. I swiched out the stock speedo and added the 140 mph cluster and an autometer 5" tach on the dash.. Other than that its pretty much stock. I eventually want to add either a turbo or supercharger still cant decide.. And thats how i came across this site, looking to get some ideas and find someone that can do work for me..well thats all i guess, ill get around to posting some pics as soon as i figure out how...
when replying goto advanced options and say you already have the picture on your myspace or whatever. right click the picture goto properties and copy the address.... then just past it in the little picture box option on the top of the reply box (little green tree thing) and your good LETS SEE EM.... and welcome to the site
Oh yea i forgot to mention the 3" fiberglass hood, which you can obviously see.. I had Lou's Custom Exhaust in North Reading do the cut outs for the exhaust.. They did an amazing job.. I have been going there for years and they always do an amazing job.. ive gone there for every car ive owned...
Yea man they look awesome, maybe I'll see if I can get mine done there when I'm back up in the summer, I got some stainless magnaflow's and want em shootin straight out tha back
Awesome man sounds good to me, I'm tearin up the streets down here in Tampa right now at school but when I get up there this summer I will def look into it
