Can I Wash My Car Cover?

I was wondering if I can wash my car cover. I want to throw it on before I know its going to snow and was wondering what the best way to wash it is. Should I just spray it with my hose, or could I throw it in my washing machine? Stupid question, I know... smashfreakB

Thanks - Jay

My dad threw one in the wash once and then tried to dry it. I dont think it moved around well in the dryer and since it is some weird material and stayed still, it melted a little and got pretty fucked up. It was free anyway and thats why we wanted it washed. and it wasnt my washer or dryer to get fucked up so we didnt really care. Anyway, I wouldnt want some dirty/sandy cover going on and off my car, but i would be careful washing it. You could probably just hang it up over something and hose that bitch, or try to wash it, but let it hang dry.

It will come out of the machine pretty dry anyway.
Take it to a BIG LOADER at the laundry mat
