:??:So I recently bought a 1988 GT/COBRA clone and it has all the goodies I wanted but there is one problem that bugs me and I can't, for the life of me figure it out...when the car is idling, there is like this shreek/howl that comes from the holley systemax upper manifold, and if I put my hand on top of the manifold it stops, but as soon as I take pressure off it builds back up to this friggin annoying whistle...almost like there is some internal kazoo that the holley guys thought would be funny to install on it before they shipped it....ANY ideas would be appreciated.
Those intakes make noise do to the design. What does the car idle at. Some times if you bring the idle up a couple hundred rpms it isn't as noticeable. The car should idle at about 1000.
yeah it wont really idle below 900 so it fluxuates between 900-1100. NOW, I have a whole new friggin issue...My alternator isn't charging and I replaced it with a KNOWN GOOD alternator and when I disconnect the alternator there is no power coming out of any terminal on it when the car is running but there is battery power at the large wiring harness, anyone have a wiring schematic for me or any suggestions??

You can solve that problem by putting in a PowerMaster One Wire Alternator
Fixed it finally...green/red wire from ign switch through dash warning light to alternator has a fuseable link that burned out. This wire is responsible for supplying power to the alternator to let it know that it needs to produce voltage.
