my truck a 1998 f 150 4.6 has been a good truck re3cently the water pump went i put a new water pump in it and now it seems to be getting to much pressure as soon as it warms up it sprays out of the resavor any help would be great

head gasket causing compression or exhaust gases in and pushing coolant out.

take cap off
rev motor
if u got like a volcano erruption
then it is probally a head gasket

did you bleed the coolant system of the air that gets trapped in the motor when the system has been drained and refilled ?
