I met someone on craigslist that was looking for a 4" cowl hood for trade for an original Cobra upper and lower intake manifold, 75mm Maf programmed for 24# which came with the 24# injectors too, and a professional product 70mm throttle body. The guy says I should gain about 25 horsepower at the wheel.
Oh and I gave him my original Hpipe which I don't think I'll ever use.
So now I'm glad I didn't get rid of my twin turbo hood. I installed it tonight and it looks stupid. But I think I made out on this deal. What you guys think?
Ya I priced out everything and the parts I got are worth about 1200 new. My hood which came with my car would cost about 500 from Cervinis. Too bad it's at the end of the year though.
wait! what? as long as the MAF is calibrated for the 24's you will have no issues. install them on the car and don't sweat it man....it will run perfectly fine.
Well that's what I thought but I assumed others would know more about this than I do. Yes it's calibrated for those injectors. Just didn't know if my stock fuel pump needs to be upgraded to a 190 or something?
I was just saying that it wont benefit you at all so why not do all the work at one time. Also when you asked about a tune it isnt needed becuase when a maf is "calibrated" all it is doing is tricking the computer, if you have a tune you can run any maf with any injectors or computer.
Ya maybe I guess. He said he needed it for his son but I don't care. It was just sitting in my garage anyway. I still have to find another hood though too which kinda sucks.

no your stock pump is fine.....although I am not sure how many miles are on your car so before it decides to shit the bed like most do on cars with a few miles under their belt you may want to replace it as preventative measure anyway, especially if it's humming a bit.
