I saw some of your cars at Tasca this weekend and also at Fun Ford in August.

I am mainly a Fox Body guy, but I respect all Mustangs.

I have spent the last 2 years wasting all my money and time on it...this winter I tackle the interior and then as long as the stock block stays together for a while....I am done for now....

One of my good friend's has this 92 Fox Vert...






it was at Tasca in the show field all day alone...because we were having more fun with his GT-500 vert..while he was knocking down 11.7s at 121 all day.

I had to leave my Fox at home on Sunday so I could drive the 500 to the track for him....that sucked...LOL...


I am going to let him know about you guys as well...

Hey Mark,

Welcome. Question for you, was your friend's GT500 blue with a black top? What kind of tires was he running, what size? How much pressure is he running? My dad has a GT500 and he is having trouble getting it to hook up off the line. Right now he has MT drag radials. His MPH is around 117, 118 but he is spinning the tires off the line killing his 60 ft time.

Ya that is him....his car is interesting...

He is running 335 Nittos..he had his rims widened...but it was funny he wasnt heating those tires up...he was leaving the traction control on and letting that do its job...

I think he ran about 20psi in them....with the traction control off earlier this year his 60s were not that good either..

He was cutting 1.9s coming off the line at low rpm and not heating the tires up....that car is a beast and has alot more in it if he wanted to focus on the track....

His 500 puts 550 to the wheels so hooking it up without the traction control is almost useless...

Hmmmm interesting, I will tell my Dad that tomorrow, we are going to the track so we will try it. What has he done to it? My Dad is making 490 at the wheel, he changed the pulley on the blower, air intake, intercooler, mufflers, and of course tune.

Pulley, cold air, intercooler, tune, exhaust....not sure what pulley or anything though...that was on a Dynojet SAE corrected and it was 90 degrees the day it was tuned....Now that I checked his dyno sheet it was 525 at the wheels.

I might try and hit the 10/19 meet...My heater core is leaking really bad so I was going to to take it off the road next weekend after I hit the dyno one more time...but maybe 1 more run before I put it away and rip out that interior is a better idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!
