gas tank question

my gas tank is very pressurized for some reason, when i take the gas cap off, air comes out of the filler....any ideas?

Check your charcoal canister. Make sure the vacuum lines are not blocked and the canister is plugged in and functional. Run yur codes and see if anything shows up.


If that's fine, change your gas cap

isnt gonna be any codes, its an 88 carbed, no computers, it was fine, then i dropped the tank and put a new sender in, any way the vent line is blocked?

What did you do with the vent line that runs from the tank to the front and used to go to the charcoal canister?

its still there just not connected to anything....

They it should vent...unless it's become blocked
