Radiator inlet

I have run into a problem installing my new radiator and turbo setup. The problem is that the inlet to the rad is very close to the outlet of the turbo and the exhaust. I don't see anyway I could have a hose connected to the inlet without it being severely kinked or damaged from heat. This is a universal rad and I have tried to move it up, down and towards the front as much as possible but there isnt much room to work with. My only idea was to change the inlet to 45 degrees up or go 90 degrees towards the center and run it that way. Id rather do it myself but I dont have the equipment to weld this and have no idea what it would take or how much it would cost to have someone do it for me.  Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Return it and get a narrower radiator.... Summit sells one thats the same height as a mustang one, just a few inches narrower. Then either buy one of those universal hoses, or make your own hose.

Thanks for the suggestions. I really didnt want to have to get a different rad. and its too late to return it. I would have to get one much narrower to clear the downpipe and i think i would rather weld it. Unles they made one with a higher mounted inlet, which i have yet to see.
I wasnt sure if anyone has done a job like this before or know of anyone who has. Or if anyone knew how much it would cost for a weld job.
And wheels, with all the problems ive had and am still having with this turbo kit, i am about ready to give it the fuck away.

Why not change it to the other side of the radiator. The drivers side. you could use a 90* elbow hose on the radiator. a straigt piece of pipe the length of the radiator, another 90* hose to the thermostat housing.

I was thinking of going 90 degrees to the center and then straight to the tstat but I still dont think there is enough room for a 90* hose. My other option was to have a 90 welded on but I guess i should try the hose first to check for clearance. I would have to cut some of the inlet off and I really dont want it to look hack with ugly hoses, heat shields and shit like that. And i know it looks hack now, but i will be refinishing and painting the entire compartment once all the turbo shit is squared away.

Thanks for the offer man, I live in Needham, which isnt too far from Foxboro. Im gonna see what I can find for fittings, get a final plan and let you know. And ya even though I bought my kit from HP and probably paid twice what you did, I understand about shit not fitting right. Every time something gets done, another fitment problem or some other bullshit comes up. After all the time and money I wasted with HP, I kinda wish I built my own twin setup. It would have been just as much bullshit and probably taken less time. But ya i guess thats the nature of this shit. Thanks man, ill let you know.

RE: Radiator inlet

I bought an aluminum water neck for a SBC and cut off the flange as well as cut off the original inlet from my rad. Big thanks to Tom (93fox) for welding this up for me. He went out of his way to help me out and I really appreciate it. He did a great job, it looks mint and should solve any clearance issues I was going to have before. Thanks again man!
