I'm looking for a 94 to 98 8.8 rear axle . Preferebly with some sort of gears ..355's or 373's , but stock 308's are fine . Must be for years mentioned .. thanks for looking !
just wondering what the differences are between the 94-98 to the 99+ rear ends ??are they wider ? i never got into anything past 99 so dont know to much about them
Exactly right ! I have a 97 v6 mustang for my daughter and I'm looking for an 8.8 with some kind of gears for a little better acceleration . Plus the posi will help in the winter . One wheel peel is not gonna get her through the snow to well .
Yep !! I was going to put dedicated snow tires on it when winter starts . Plus the posi does help compared to one wheel just spinning in the snow while the tire on the tar does nothing . I have driven many stangs in the snow and have to say the posi definatley helps . While true it will kick you sideways pretty quik ... two wheels fighting for traction is better than one in my book . Besides it will be fun showing her how to do doughnuts in the snow with the posi set up !
