Alright well my parents are planning on overhauling my car while i am at Bootcamp as a secret only my mom spilled the beans cuz she wants it to be done right..and make sure i like it...i know what i want for parts etc..cuz theres only a few things there gonna get done on the motor..but im tryin to think of a good color for my vert..getting a new black top...i just cant think of a good color for it.
I was thinkin of like a cherry black type of color or something..maybe a pearl essance orange with black coba r's. and black racing stripes..im not sure..i know u guys will say well it all user choice but this is gonna be a custom paint job and i would like to see some of ur ideas!! thanks guys..all ideas are appreciated
yea im leaning to some type of orange with black cobra r's but not a def yet..and as far as black goes i know it would look real good in black but i think vlack is a lil to popular..unless its a black with a flake like the mettalic black u sed uatlb
Edit: also the cherry black color i really like the concept of..its be like a pearl essance..real darkkk red with flake..and wen u see it in the sun or at a certain angle u can really catch the red almost a candy apple/blood red
hahaaha i was just looking at a chrome mettalic and gold lol...and as far as blue goes i hate blue to many people like blue as there "fav" color..iv always disliked blue
you have a red interior so here is what i would do. 1. replace red int. with grey or black then paint car a dark red or burnt orange 2. keep red int. and go black or pearl white.... just my opinion
im def keepin the red int..prob getting red and black racing seats..leave the dash and etc. red..and probably get a black cover for wen the top is down..idk yet
I would stick with the white, but thats only because my car is white. My car used to have a white top too, but a black one is sooooo much better. It doesn't get dirty at all like a white top does. I would say go with black but do something to break it up a bit, make it a bit different. What color is the interior? That is something else you want to keep in mind. I saw a Fox that was painted a metallic orange color and it had a red interior. The paint was sick but it didn't match the interior at all. Not sure if you have seen my car at all on the site but here is what your car will look like with a black top.
i like the burnt orange with black cobras...i was thinkin the same thing a while ago for my notch...but i think with a red interior your options are limited unless you dont care about it not fitting...i just think orange ext. with red int. wont look right at all...id say do a pearl white...like a tiny tiny hint of purple...i saw a vert GT with chrome torque thrust IIs that was that color and it looked amazing...but like you said its just an opinion...

i was looking at a car today my buddy has and its a cherry black they call it or somethn looks almost completely black but wen looked at at an angle u can see the redness in it...and Amanda i completely agree with stripes on the vert.. that idea is in the trash
those are some nice colors yola...i wwas thinkin maybe black with red stripes just like that or black with thos same color silver stripes that were on ur car..and have the conv. cover made to match the stripes if i do go in that direction..but then again i wanna keep that interior so i dont think the silver stripes would fit well
