5 lug conversion

one of my real good friends just bought a very clean 91 hatch and hes interested in doing a 5 lug swap. can anyone give me a complete list of all the things needed and a ballpark estimate of how much it will cost. installation isnt a issue cause between all of my friends we have 5 mechanics so i just need to know how much for all of the parts

Keep in mind that bolt on kit doesn't work with every wheel.

Does he want 4-wheel disk brakes, or is 5-lug drums ok?

Check out this website, there's a bunch of ways to do it. The above kits are the easiest, but you get limited to what wheels you can run

Sn95 spindles are a must or its not even worth doing. First thing to do is pick out what wheels you want to run. Most wheels won't work on the mark 7 rotors. The rear is up to you. Drums or disc is fine, but is you run longer axles in the rear out of an sn95 then make sure your backspacing is right on so they fit properly.

most wheels will work, theres only a handfull of wheels that wont, including factory bullits ,99 cobras and such to list a few, and stock 00-03 gt wheels, cheap way to fit bullits is to get longer studs in the front and a 5/16 wheel spacer, its kinda some afro engineering but i ran my old car like that for a yr w no problem good luck

96-98 GT split 5-spokes won't work either. The wheel will bolt up, but you won't be able to put the center cap on.

99+ painted 5-spoke 17" wheels are the same way.
