87-88 turbo coupe setup is the same as the '93 Cobra setup. It's 4-lug and a similar style brake setup using a varga caliper as the 94+ Mustangs.
Keep in mind the rear track is pushed out 0.75" each side with this setup. On the '93 Cobra, the front rotors have a taller hat to match the 0.75" increase in offset to allow tire rotations and keeping the offset the same.
i will sell my mint 93 cobra rear disc brake rear axle with ford motorsport 3.73 gears $400 just the gears and install would cost you that never mind the disc brakes

4 lug disc rear is a waste. Do 5 lug or don't waste your time and money. 5 lug has all the wheel options, brake upgrade options and you will get a better ride if your car is lowered and you use the sn95 spindle. Just make sure the wheels are the correct offset in the rear for the 3/4" longer disc axles. Thats does for 4 or 5 lug.
You could swap in a whole sn95 rear end, just use the axles/brakes on your rear end. You coudl use a mark 7 rear end, but they are 1.5" wider on each side and really all you can use for wheels would be fox body saleen wheels. They use the same rear ends. Turbo coupe or 93 cobra would work for 4 lug disc. You would also need to upgrade the master cylinder and proportioning valve too for rear disc. If you went 94+ cobra front and rear brakes you would need to upgrade the brake booster too.
