its true

but the law really dosnt come into effect till october but shops have to be prepared before then so there is a chance u could get just a safety inspection at some shops

every shop will be different tho untill october...

its true as of august 1st there are no more emissons test for 1995 and older cars... they will be a saftey only so everyone with fox's and sn 95s you will no longer have to pass an emissons test it will only be a saftey... but every car the has obd 2 (96 and newer) will have a saftey and emissions test every year starting in october... there coming out with a whole new program...
but if you have an emissions failure prior to august 1st im not to sure if your going to have an emissions retest... i havent had anything come in yet that failed for emissons prior to the 1st... just lettin everyone know whats goin on with state testing now cause i do inspections
