if they are FRPP gears you are covered, that is what i was told on my warranty
Only if installed by a Ford dealer.
They have to prove that the mods caused the problem. They can't void your warranty if your radio craps out because of gears.
However, if your transmission starts whining, then can say the steeper gears causes higher engine RPM which put increased wear on the trans. We all know it would be BS....but they would have a strong case for voiding your warranty and you would have to prove otherwise.
Tim stop being a girl and just mod your car...what happens when you dont have a warranty and you mod your car and something breaks ur gonna have to pay for it...so why not just mod it now...arent you tired of being slow? lol

id didtch the extended waranty all it is is a sales pitch.....most ext warentys are pro rated .......drop the warrenty and mod the shit out it. Its an 03....5 years old who cares.
Just make sure you reprogram the computer to read the new gear ratio correctly . Or you could potentialy burn the trans out from not shifting properly . Besides whats a warrenty ? Is that a sea creature or something !!
If you had pinion bearing or carrier bearing failure I could see them possibly denying the warranty. It is really up to the management or the Field service engineer to pay or deny the claim.
