How about these heads?

I know someone that has a pair of THESE for sale for a good price. All that needs to be done is the valve work (2.05's). They are the 58cc model I think. How do you guys think they would be on my combo? I am also thinking of a 408W in the future which would use these as well.

damn good race head. It'll work for your 408 but is gonna be complete overkill for your 302.

Just to give you an idea. I'm only using a 1.90, 1.60 valves and if you look at my dyno sheet you will have a good idea what I made to the wheels. I firmly believe in port velocity and matching to what you have. Your driveability and performance will be at it's best.

Not familiar with them, but I have heard good about CNC. Whats wrong with the ones you have now?

There is nothing wrong with the heads he has now IMO. The old trophy stock class from FFW went low 11's with nothing more than port matching, 5 angle valve job, and milled about .040 ......

They are overkill, but I can get a really good deal on them (considering what they go for new),and they are new and untouched. They haven't even been ground for valves yet.

I'd save them for your 408. I'd be too damn lazy to go to the effort to put them on your 306

The would be a good match on 408W. On your current S/C 306 they are just too much head
