1898 GT, sunroof, paint is still in surprisingly good shape...but the car has been sitting for 4 years...i know the owner...dno what hes thinking...but someone backed into the front marker light as you can see...shot out a 1/4 window with a BB gun...inside is gettin moldy from a leaking sunroof...has a 10K mile GT40 crate motor...ran mint...probly MIGHT still run but who knows...new 3:73 rear end...catted bassani x-pipe into flowmaster 40s...its so sad to see this though...car originally was parked cuz it needed a new throttle cable and is now just sitting and dying...

well its my friends cousin's car...and what we were thinking is offering him to let us take the car...clean the SHIT (literally) out of it...go through the motor...re-gasket everything...get all the oxidation off...and re-paint w/e needs to be painted then sell it and split it 3 ways for us doing the work...the paint really is in good condition...but itll need a new front cover cuz of where it was hit it bulged out...needs a new clear marker light...id throw the tail lights that are on it in the trash...and it has the tips going thru the rear bumper too...but it really is such a shame to see what used to be such a nice clean fast car turn to shit...ill let you guys know what happens with it

iif you could get 500 bucks for it youd save yourself alot of work.....that car is worth about 500 unless you strip it down to the shell and start over you will always have problems.

we'll see what happens...might try and talk him into letting us just strip it and turn it into a beater...completley gut the interior...just have the 2 front seats...re-do the motor...then just spray it and bring it to the track

Was that thing sitting by the ocean or IN the ocean. yick.

It can be cleaned up but idk what I would offer for it. Who knows what kind of rot may be lurking.

the inside is so bad cuz it was under a shitty tarp so water got under which in turn leaked through the sunroof...would def need a new interior...but the few pics i got of the underside it didnt look too bad at all...its been sitting on gravel NOT grass...thankfully...if it was on grass for 4 years im sure the underside would be toast by now...

Car isn't worth doing all that to it. I would part the car out and I bet you walk away with 2-3k. No problem. I have parted out a lot worse

^^^how could you say that...you havent even seen the car in person...body is fine...underneath isnt rotted...engine needs to be pulled regasketed and painted...as far as the interior...can all be cleaned

i have a hard time believing someone bought a GT40 crate motor ...used stocks 19's and didnt convert to mass air .... honestly that looks like a stock motor

im not saying think out your responce to me but evereyone else replys and its fine ...i reply and you say "beleive what you want to " i was not questioning you i was just replying to what i saw ...i was actaully trying to start a little convo in this thread to see what "we" the mustang people can figure out whats up with the car ..but whatever enjoy the car buy it and drive it for all i care .
