I recently put a new throw out bearing in my 1990lx I also changed to an aftermarket clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster. After the install the car will not start with the key. It will popstart and run fine though. Any ideas? The only problem with the install was we broke the speedo cable at the tranny.
It's almost likely that it's the Neutral Safety Switch, I had the same problem a couple years back... perhaps the cable needs some more adjustment, or your Nuetral Saftey switch is need of replacement.. Good luck, keep us posted.
