fuel leak

i have gas coming out of the top of my tank,is this something that is common,maybe pump gaskets..just wondering if i should get another tank before i drop it or these tanks commonly have gasket issues.???looking at the back of the car its coming from the top of the tank on the right side

could be the filler grommet

my 93 would leak fuel from where ur describing if it was over half tank

i drove it over a year like that, had no issues. i think top of the tank rusted out

Yea my 93 had a little pin-hole that was leaking gas if it was over half. Guys at Lou's Custom Exhaust just patched it with some "quick-steel" that putty stuff that hardens like "steel". Hasn't leaked since.
