So today i realized my tranny was having problems shifting into third, it would get up to 6400 rpm without shifting, so i asked my brother to check it out. My brother jumps in and takes my car for a whip down 107, all of a sudden two idiots with no lights on slammm on there brakes infront of us to line them up [its a two lane highway, you cant do that!] We were going about 90-100 mph and tried to avoid hitting them, but my tires locked up, my front tire popped and we slid into one gaurd rail, then into the opposite, my rear axle snapped and wheel broke off with breaks still attached and we landed in a pole. I was knocked unconscience real quick considering the entire passenger seat broke off and i went hurling into the hatch, but its safe to say my car is totalled. The front end is slammed in completely, the entire ass end is draggin on the ground, the doors wont open, my interiors bent in half. What a terrible night. Im trying to keep my head high, but god i loved that car.
sorry for your loss, but at least your ok, you can always replace the stang but not you or anyone else! just take some parts of the old beast as memory or put them on that next stang!

That's terrible, sorry to hear...Good thing you guys are ok thats all that matters...If you need another Mustang you might be able to buy my purple notchback with a stock 5.0 in it in like a month lol. Everyone makes fun of me for the color but maybe it would be better with a girl drivin it!? hahaha who knows.
thank god your ok,its just a car and can be replaced and you have the memories they never leave, we will all help you out with getting you a new maybe you can pick up 4 banger and do a heart transplant so you can keep your motor
Thats a good hit. If you have insurance at least you will get something back for it. It would be an obvious total that isn't worth fixing. If not then you could part out what is salvageable. If you want to sell it I know someone looking for a donor car for a 4 cylinder conversion. Let me know.
When they total it, buy it back as a salvage. I paid $50 for my old T-Bird that way. I got $900 for the car,bought it back for $50 and bought a junker for $150 and transfered all the parts.
Damn, I'm sorry to hear what happened, Glad you and your brother are alive and well that's all that matters... Hang in there you'll get another stang in the near future.. Good luck, I hope everything works out fine, which I have a feeling it will.
Sorry to hear what happened. I'm glad you and your brother made it out alive. Buy it back from the insurance company. If you have the collision on it. Then swap everything into another 4 banger hatch. Everything except the slipping tranny. Convert the 4 banger to a T-5.

Man!! Sorry to hear this and I know how that feels. I went through the same with my old Saleen fox vert that I had. Its no fun for a while when you're actually taking great care for it and such especially getting that beauty painted then next thing this happens!! Just sucks ass. But the reality is that you're ok and your brother as well since he was the one driving it. Don't worry, you'll find another one. Buy the car back from the insurance then part it out cuz thats what I did and actually made more then I expected.
wow, seems alot of people i know have wrecked their mustangs recently, including myself.

i suspect the police showed up and investigated whether or not speeding/racing was a factor.
when i crashed my car, they charged me with street racing and i had to fight with the cop to get him to drop the charges.
keep the car and salvage what you can off it. having a parts car is awesome. ive already swapped alot of stuff off my '93 onto the '92, thats why i havent responded to alot of emails regarding parts off my '93 (sorry to those who have inquired).

i am really sorry to hear this happened. wow that thing is just a complete wreck! i do believe now is the time for a 4 cyl to 5.0 swap into a coupe! use your car as the donor. the 4 cyl car can be had for under 1000.00 if you look hard enough. glad you & your brother are ok!!
