nooooooooooo they heads are 555$ each and a waste of money, if u want the best bang for your buck get Patriot performance heads on ebay, they come with 2.02s and are actyly really nice heads for the money, l think there 750$ +shipping for both i had gt40x alum heads on my marrron car and edelbrock performers on my Bright red car, ill take the edelbrocks over gt40x;s any day

Patriot heads are $895.00 copys of AFR 185's made in China. Quality control is poor at best.1st batch of heads combustion chambers varied as much as 4cc. Valve jobs were aweful. Better off getting a set of used Trick Flows, AFR 185's, Canfields, Brodix or whatever.

So thats the problem, I knew there was something wrong with the patriots. No head set could come out on the market at that price without something being sacrificed.

I got my TFTW's with 1.6RR's used. I'll stick with those.

X2 .... Patriot had problems with the 2 valve modular heads too . They had poor valve guides and had valve sealing problems .
Those GT 40 X's are actually a really good street head . Besides if you wanted more you could always drop them off @ 93 reef notch's porting shop for more flow ..wink.gif

Patriot's rep is so so, I would stay away. GT40X's aren't the greatest heads out there, but they are decent if. Trick flow and AFR would be better choices especially if you plan on making big power, but depending on your goals you may not need something like them. Those heads are like the ford alphabet cams, not the worst out there but certainly not the best either.
