Do i need to keep my quad shocks on? Ive heard of guys removing them but i dont know why. Is it helpful or harmful to remove? Miine are in like new condition
If you have a good set of control arms then you won't even be able to put them on. If your running stock arms, leave em, otherwise they gotta go. They just help control wheel hop.

Why wouldnt you be able to put them on? I had stock lowers. When it goes back together it will have Lakewood upper and lower arms.
I have the Lakewood Traction Action Lift Bars on my car, and there's no spot to mount them. Trust me on this one, I just went through this a few weeks ago. The lakewoods get rid of all wheel hop, you won't need them.
They arent traction action, they are just tubular lowers. And i dunno if it makes a difference but i have airbags. Will the tubulars be ok to remove the quads?
ford actuly calls them "axle dampners" and its basicly a fix for the shitty factory 4link susp...if u have good control arms and springs, maybe frame connnectors...ull be all set and shuldnt have any wheel hop like the guys said...i havent ever had quad shocks on any of my cars...fuck em
