i have a 91 mustang lx , went to the track yesterday and it wheel hops violently in the burnout box , it has brand new tubular upper and lower control arms already , brand new rear KYB shocks(white ones ) ,stock sway bar , quads removed (stocks were junk and KYB'S don't fit with my wheel offset)and with M/T Drag radials it will not hook up . any sugestions ? ..thanks
What kind of shape are the rear axle upper control arm bushings in ? These are usually the culprit for wheel hopp . If they are still stock then they need to be replaced . Do you remove the front swaybar for track runs ? It can greatly improve weight transfer . Maybe try some Moroso trick springs in the front and 70/30 adjustable drag shocks ...... Well this is my worth ..
