e7s are decent. gt40p's arent bad either. thats what mike has on that SC'd 89 that runs real nice. i'd say go aluminum, thats what im doing. i might order the trickflow top end kit but im not sure. i want AFRs too. a set of causs (spelling?) heads would be the best bet, but theyre like 3500 a set!
nah i dont want nor can i afford alum. heads right now...i want to build a 250-280hp motor with sum good tq and have a killer suspension setup...ik guys running mid twelves with only 230hp...its not all just the power as u know..its the driver...and suspension...and if i were go alum...it wouldnt be trickflow...itd be afr....just becuz everyone i talk to at the track that has tw heads say there good for forced induction...but i wish i got afr's...i dont wanna be one of those guys...it takes alot of rpm to get those heads to work good on a 302 cuz of the large valve size...i can probly make a really good amount of tq close to 300 with 1.90 valves plus my air gap intake and carb...i cant deny alum heads are def better, but for me..i want to be another guy who proves u can run high 12's on cheap iron heads and a ford letter cam

i think its KAASE...and u can get a set of jegs heads wich are built by KAASE for 570$ a peice assembled...u can use cams up to .550 lift with stock pistons (Except 86's) and they have 2.02 valves...so when ppl say tw heads are the only ones with 2.02s u can fit with a stock block...tell them no!!!!
