CAMSHAFT AND CYLINDER HEAD SELECTION!!!! SO FUCKIN Tuff FOR ME.....

Theres so many fuckin differnt heads out there and cams...for the past 2 months ive been debating on what combo to go with..ive narrowd it down to 3 sets of heads and a few differnt cams.....im thinking....Trickflow TW heads and the trickflow stage 1 cam....Jegs SBF heads w. 2.02 valves and they say u can use up to a .550 lift cam w. those heads, wich is sick! even tho i only wanna run about a .500 lift cam, ill have room to move up....or Edelbrock performer RPM heads w. 1.90 valves,. now ive had the GT40X alum heads from ford and edelbrock performer emmisions legal on my other cars....and they wernt bad...but ik theres alot better heads out there, and im all set w. AFR cuz there to pricey....as far as cams go, ive got it down to the motorsport F303 cam wich is so fuckin outdated as well as all the motorsport cams are, but wat can i say, theyve proven good cams to me so far....or the LUnati voodoo cam w. around .500 lift....wich i can get cheap at my work, as well as i can get the edlebrock heads 900$ for 2 of them...idk give me your opinions guys....im open to suggstions and if u guys know anyone thats had good look from a differnt head/cam combo let me know...as far as induction its carburated and that part is all set and is able to flow enuff for a big cam and nice heads....let me hear your opinions!

trickflow TW heads and a stage 1 but look into a stage two cam they sound real nice and have more lift than a stage 1.

Stage 2 won't work with stock pistons. Ford letter cams are long in the tooth but the work very well. I think you'd be happy with any of the heads mentioned and as for a cam, an "F" cam would work nice, also I believe Comp & Lunati offer cams in the .520 lift range that will work.

oh ik i just checked out the stage 2. way to much lift for stock pistons....anyways....I had an F303 cam in my red car w. edelbrock heads and the thing ripped pretty good..i k theres more power and tq to be had w. trickflows twisted wedge heads...and my future plans of a roots-style blower will probly work well w. the blower/nitrous friendly f303 cam and twisted wegde heads..thanks guys for the input...i will be buyin an OUTDATED but AWSOME F303 cam and a set of those mighty fine twisted wedge heads...one more thing too...i never bother to check piston to valve clearance on any of my other cars, but i only had heads w. 1.90 valves..u think ill be all set w. this cam and head????? any ideas how to best check p/v clearance???? thanks again
