thanks brando. im in love with this car. its 3:15 AM and i cant even sleep because im so excited i get to go clean it tomorrow! 40 days until license! im gonna cry everyday until i get it back! i love foxes so much! i considered going to the dark side and getting a firebird, but then i got a reality slap and realized, when i was in HS everyone didnt call me 5.0 Pat for nothing! i live for them! i know every nut and bolt! why switch teams now? if i got a firebird i might aswell turned gay while i was at it!
uIncase you didn't know! i buily my 89 lx 5.0 up. gt40 intake, throttle body, cold air, exhaust, 24s, mass air, fuel pressure regulator, full exhaust, and i spend over 6 months on the body of it. cowl hood and 17x9 cobra rs. got it maaco'd. looked decent. rot box...frame was a little rotted and a bit twisted from my driving but it was my dirty secret. well i popped the motor in that. then i traded it for a 94 mustang that was up and running. sounds good. NOT. the title was already filled out to someone else. i hated the car and never bothered hunting the guy down really. then i traded my 94, in search of another fox, for an 85 GT. sounds good, again NOT. the guy held the title for the 85 until i got mine for the 94. so i go to the registry and get the guy hunted down and everything, so we goto put the title in his name so he can sign it to me. the fucking guy never did it and cut off all contact leaving me with nothing. so i sold my 85 for 500 bucks as a parts car with no title. after trading my 89 which i had over 5 grand into. so i took a 5500 dollar hit right in the wallet. people thought i kept getting rid of stangs cause i liked to get them and sell them, WRONG. i had my 89 for over a year and completely redid it! so with my 500 bucks and my hard earned cash, i found my 93 lx! just the car i'd been looking for! so now ive got a title in my name and im ready to roll! ill have this bitch for a while! dont worry, shes too nice to let go. having this one, even for only a few hours has made me realize how much of a shitbox all my other cars were. but one thing, my 89 RIPPED when i had it.
that went on for a bit, but now you know my life story and why i love this car so much! after having cars with fucked up paperwork for the past 8 months, im SO HAPPY to have a legit car!
