When motor was stock with novi 1000 and 10#'s a boost ( 390 rwhp ) 390 gears and through the cats on a 80 * and humid night it went 12.54@ 113 mph . Launching at a 1000 rpm with a 2.01 60' .. Can't wait to see now !!! biggrin.gif

haha, well my reason for 13.5 is i cook first and second gear down the track. it should be in mid to low 12s next wednesday though. ive got some slicks mounted and ready to go. and as of an hour ago my rear end is sitting on the ground underneath the car waiting for the control arms to go on. and on the 13th, its getting a 125 wet shot. so im hoping to see what it does after that.

13.0 @ 110 with a 2.1 60 foot. It was a slick, wet, foggy night at the track and my transmission grinds thirdy horribly. On wednesday it should run in the 12's.

last and only track night went 13.80 at 101.9 with a 2.2 60ft falling on its face at the 1000ft mark because of my 4.10s and 26" tall tires with a stock motor.(last night the track was open last year)...shooting for deep 11s come spring

I blew the head gasket before I even got there that day and ran it anyway . My motto is " let it eat " and mustered a dismal 11.83 @ 123 . Oh well try again next year ..

I'm gonna tear the engine down and inspect everything Frank .. I'm not to happy with engine builder Dez used to put my short block together . I've been finding a good amount of gray material stuck to the oil drain magnet on oil changes and alot of block casting material mixed in with the coolant . If I find the Fox Lake heads are cracked again then I'm gonna toss em and put on a stock set . I just feel there has been to many problems for only 2600 miles on the new motor and for the coin I spent this is all bullshit !!

dude that must be so dissapointing...i would be flippin out if i had a motor put together but someone who dez uses and it crapped out like twice on u...is it still under any kind of warruntee???? did u end up finding out if the heads are cracked/warped?? that sucks man...u shuld just put a pushrod motor in it haha...o wel man good luck with everythig hope it doesnt cost u much...see u in the spring bro!
