peeling rims


These were bought brand new 8 years ago and never put on a car lol they've been sitting in a garage since. The chrome is peeling, would it be a bad idea to sand blast them and get them repainted, say black? I paid $100 for all 4!

just grind all the spots down that are peeling and gloss black them they will look good from 10 ft away

the sandblast isnt a bad idea but id send them out to have them professionally done...then send them out for a good powder coat job

After the cost of blasting and powdercoating and the 100 you paid for these you might as well have just bought brand new wheels, replicas are pretty cheap these days...
